James H. Madison—Dr. Madison is the Thomas and Kathryn Miller Professor of History, Indiana University, is former chair of the History Department and recipient of the Holland Teaching Award. His book, The Indiana Way, is the standard one-volume history of the state. He is former editor of the Indiana Magazine of History. His books deal with twentieth-century U.S. history and World War II.
