'Through the Lens of Indiana'—partnership promotes innovative teaching of American History     (PDF version)

The History Educators Project: Teaching American History through the Lens of Indiana is part of a nationwide Teaching American History federal grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Education Office of Innovation and Improvement, Education Academic Improvement and Demonstration Programs Award #U215X090157.

The Monroe County Community School Corporation is the recipient of this grant, in partnership with Indiana University School of Education, Indiana University Department of History, Monroe County Historical Society, and the Agency for Instructional Technology.
